Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to the 1st International Varicella Zoster Symposium which will be held virtually on the 1st- 3rd of July 2021 and will be a unique opportunity to interact with and learn from those who generate the science of Varicella Zoster disease and prevention.

The objective of this three day meeting is to serve as a platform for communication between epidemiologists, immunologists, virologists, vaccinologists and healthcare professionals working in public health institutions that will summarize the current state-of-the-art on Varicella-Zoster virus disease and prevention and pave the path towards the elimination of VZV infections.

Sessions will include workshops and lectures given by world-known experts in the field, from USA, Europe, Asia and Australia who will provide comprehensive updates on the latest advances on VZV infection, share their experience on varicella universal vaccination (UVV) , and discuss challenges to overcome the remaining barriers for further implementation of UVV programs.

We are looking forward to meeting you virtually in July 1st- 3rd 2021.
